In Bratislava, Slovakia, 3 girls in their late teens were immersed on Nov. 6. Two of them are in a Bible study being discipled. Petition with the CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER that their testimonies in the church and in their respective lives will cause other Slovaks to be curious and desire what they have!

Members of the DIASPORA CLUSTER (BRAZIL) share, “May 23 – 26 is our Sixth Annual meeting of RENACI (National Network for the Evangelism and Support of the Calon and Roma). Pray with us as we travel and meet with other Brazilian and Calon missionaries, pastors, leaders and volunteers, who work among the Roma and Calon people throughout Brazil to plan, train and fellowship. One worker will be leading a session on children’s work and another worker will lead a session on storying and story sets. Every year our meeting grows with new churches and individuals, who feel God calling them to reach the Calon and Roma of Brazil. Intercede that the Lord will bless this time with wisdom and guidance as we make strategic plans to reach the Calon people.”

Do you like to party? The Portuguese in Belgium certainly do. This long-established community is proud of both their heritage and their newly-adopted home. Portuguese bookshops, trade unions, and cultural associations exist in Brussels. A bi-cultural people, the Portuguese in Belgium love to work, raise their family, and play hard. Especially connected to pop culture, video-games, movies, and the internet, the Portuguese have some of the highest internet-usage per capita of any European peoples. Intercede that Christian workers will explore new forms of evangelization through social media and online presence to reach this group. Pray that the Portuguese in Belgium will fall deeply in love with God and channel their energy into worshipping Him.

Pray for a team of 20 from Mississippi, who will work in the Kharkov Region (Ukraine) from May 18-24. While part of the team will be involved in construction in one church for the week, the remaining members will provide medical and VBS outreach in three different cities. Intercede for those who will have the opportunity to respond to the love of Christ as shared through the hands and hearts of this team, and for the Ukrainian believers, who will work alongside them in each community. Pray for safety for the construction crew. Intercede that the hearts and minds of the believers in each of these churches will be uplifted and that they will continue the work of reaching out to those who are not yet followers of Jesus in their cities.
