Members of the WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN CLUSTER in PORTUGAL are celebrating the wonderful reception the International World Changers team has already had in Portimao. City Hall officials have already asked that if all goes well, they come back again next year! They are also allowing them to use the school for English classes. Intercede for the 70+ member team coming June 30 – July 6 and all the activities that will be going on to not only work out logistically, but also provide wide open doors for the gospel in Portugal. Also lift up several other ongoing min., including a soup kitchen, 2 new Alpha courses, a women’s ministry, a football ministry, beach ministries, street concerts, children’s home work, and work with the deaf. May the Father be greatly glorified in every conversation.

More Prayer Requests
Do you like to party? The Portuguese in Belgium certainly do. This long-established community is proud of both their heritage and their newly-adopted home. Portuguese bookshops, trade unions, and cultural associations exist in Brussels. A bi-cultural people, the Portuguese in Belgium love to work, raise their family, and play hard. Especially connected to pop culture, video-games, movies, and the internet, the Portuguese have some of the highest internet-usage per capita of any European peoples. Intercede that Christian workers will explore new forms of evangelization through social media and online presence to reach this group. Pray that the Portuguese in Belgium will fall deeply in love with God and channel their energy into worshipping Him.

Pray for a team of 20 from Mississippi, who will work in the Kharkov Region (Ukraine) from May 18-24. While part of the team will be involved in construction in one church for the week, the remaining members will provide medical and VBS outreach in three different cities. Intercede for those who will have the opportunity to respond to the love of Christ as shared through the hands and hearts of this team, and for the Ukrainian believers, who will work alongside them in each community. Pray for safety for the construction crew. Intercede that the hearts and minds of the believers in each of these churches will be uplifted and that they will continue the work of reaching out to those who are not yet followers of Jesus in their cities.
A couple working with the DIASPORA CLUSTER in ITALY share, “Nine of the top 22 Unreached, Unengaged People Groups (UUPGs) in the European Affinity are related to Italy or Italians. For this reason, we just relocated to Milan, Italy. Please pray for the movement of the Spirit among these UUPG’s and for US churches that might possibly embrace them and begin churches among them. Also lift us up as we build relationships in our neighborhood, as well as across Italian borders in Switzerland, France and Germany. Pray that our language skills will be sharpened quickly and that we will sense and obey God’s leadership in our new setting.”
