The pastor of Sochi’s Central Baptist Church, Danil Pankratov, and his wife traveled to London alongside the IMB’s Engage Sochi leadership team to get a better vision for how the Olympics can help to reach the people of the Olympic host city.
Pray for a team of 20 from Mississippi, who will work in the Kharkov Region (Ukraine) from May 18-24. While part of the team will be involved in construction in one church for the week, the remaining members will provide medical and VBS outreach in three different cities. Intercede for those who will have the opportunity to respond to the love of Christ as shared through the hands and hearts of this team, and for the Ukrainian believers, who will work alongside them in each community. Pray for safety for the construction crew. Intercede that the hearts and minds of the believers in each of these churches will be uplifted and that they will continue the work of reaching out to those who are not yet followers of Jesus in their cities.
