Understanding that a partnership requires two-way interaction and cooperation, IMB leadership among European peoples wants to offer Embrace churches, those that have covenanted to engage an unreached, unengaged people group (UUPG), several opportunities to discuss, learn, collaborate and develop strategies together. How are we planning to make this happen?
Embrace Celebration & Training Events
IMB leadership from the European Peoples Affinity Group will join churches that have covenanted to embrace an unreached and unengaged people group (UUPG) among European peoples to host an event of celebration and training. We will celebrate the partnership that is being formed and offer training to assist the church in learning more about embracing their people group with the Gospel.
These events will be held at covenanting churches in February 2012.
Euro Embrace Networks
The Euro Embrace Network will be made up of Embrace churches with the goal of peer learning, sharing, collaborating, celebrating and encouraging. The launch of the network will be January 15, 2012. The goal of this network is to have six hub churches with five or six churches in each Embrace Network group.
Training Labs
Training Labs will be hosted by IMB leadership and trainers. These labs will provide Embrace churches with similar training that is given to IMB personnel. It will also include hands-on training. For those churches engaging a group that is located in or close to Europe, the training will be held in either London, England, or Basel, Switzerland. For those engaging a group in the Americas, the event will be held in the US.
These events will be held in April or May 2012.

Have you indicated your commitment?
If you have not previously indicated your church’s commitment to embrace or to explore the possibility of embracing an unengaged, unreached people group, please do that here. This is not the same as the celebration covenant (see expectations). This is only making a commitment to explore the possibility.
Still have questions?
