The PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH COMMITTEE has come to the most crucial aspect in their search for the next leader of our company. Intercede that they will remain dependent upon the Father’s leadership, as they complete this process. The committee requests that Southern Baptists set aside Sat., March 13, as a day of prayer and fasting to ask Him to direct their path to the man he has chosen as our next president. They thank you for your partnership, as they embrace these great days of opportunity with the confidence of His approval and leadership.

Roma in Brazil

Members of the DIASPORA CLUSTER working in BRAZIL ask that you petition the Father to mobilize Baptists in the hundreds of towns throughout Brazil to reach the Roma and Calon peoples. Rejoice that the first worship service was held at the home of a Calon Roma leader this past month. Ask that this will be the beginning of a church plant.

These students will be the leaders in the business world of Canada and beyond. Petition the Father to open a large door for them to share through this ministry.

Lift up the ROMA TEAMS that will be hosting Lifeway/INTERNATIONAL WORLDCHANGERS (IWC) volunteers this year. They met jointly last week and yesterday they traveled to the various countries to plan the specific strategy with the teams in each of the areas. Intercede that the planning time is productive.

On Jan. 16, Believers in Holland meet together to intercede on their National prayer day. Ask that the Father will answer their petitions and heal their land. Intercede that they will do their part of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and watch the Father do His part in their individual cities and neighborhoods.

Please intercede for those in HAITI. Devastation is the word that comes to mind as we watch the news of a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti. On the island of Hispaniola, the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince, is facing a major catastrophe. Please intercede for the injured, as they must patiently await treatment; for those still trapped as they hope for release; for first responders as they struggle against time and exhaustion. Pray for the families and friends who are grieving the death of loved ones and also ask for peace of mind for those waiting to hear news about loved ones. As the days progress, pray continually for relief workers as they survey the affected areas and seek effective means of providing comfort. Pray for believers in the area to be filled with the gift of mercy as they show the love of Christ through serving others. A member of the HOPE FOR SAXONY TEAM (GERMANIC CLUSTER) has been meeting with several men for discipleship in a local establishment. The owner, a woman originally from the Czech Republic, has been talking with the men each week. She has asked many questions and is genuinely happy, when they come. The team member was recently able to give her a Jesus film and Bible in Czech. They will be seeing her again on Thursday. Intercede for her salvation and that many of the regular patrons will be impacted by these men’s weekly visits.
