Armenians in France (ArmnsFr)

Armenians and French have a relationship that stretches back to the 10th century, but most current immigrants made France their home in the early 20th century as they sought asylum from genocide in their home country. As refugees, they took the menial jobs, but the Armenians in France today are close-knit, urban, professional and business-sophisticated. Most Armenians are Orthodox. The evangelical movement among the Armenians in France is very limited with only 3 small congregations and a combined total of about 120 believers. Since they are an urban professional group, business related ministries, business training skills, and English as a Second Language might find particular acceptance among this group and may be used as venues to reach them with the Gospel.
