Members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in ROMANIA request intercession for their small group that has agreed to start an outreach to non-believers through conversational English classes. The group presented this idea to church leaders and it seems that the whole church will have an opportunity to join in to reach the lost for Christ. There will be a meeting on May 20 to discuss details and get the ball rolling. Petition the Father to lead and direct this effort.
Today is “Victory Day” in most of the countries of the former Soviet Union. In light of this, the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER has designated May 9 as a Day of Prayer for victory throughout the 6 countries of our Cluster – Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine. Intercede for the millions throughout these nations, who have never experienced the Son’s victory over the enemy through His death on the cross. Petition the Father to raise up multitudes of believers in each of these nations, proclaiming victory of sin through the cross of Christ.
Intercede with TEAM KHARKKOV (BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER) for a large team from Mississippi arriving in Ukraine on Fri., May 4. Ask the Father to enable them to arrive with all their luggage, and to grant them favor coming through customs, so they will have all the supplies needed for min. in the coming week in the Kharkov region. Petition that the hearts of the Ukrainian people in the regions they will work, will be prepared to receive the love of Christ poured out through the lives of this team.

Intercede for the opportunity to start a new Bible study in a village located in the A. Plains. Members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER share, “We had a group of ladies this month from Arkansas help us make home visits, provide children’s activities, and raise money to build a soccer field for this community. The potential to build this soccer field has allowed us to establish a relationship with the local mayor. In exchange for the soccer field, he will provide us a place to meet for Bible study. Please pray for us to follow-up with the relationships that were built and that a place to hold the Bible study will be secured.”
