A team of students from the University of Mobile in Alabama is coming to work in the Czech Republic, teaching English as a Second Language and doing servant evangelism on the streets. Intercede for the members of the CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER as they prepare. Petition that the team will stay to the task and persevere through language and culture barriers.
Boxing used as a tool to share the Gospel in Prague
Three nights every week, Lubos Dosek goes to the “gym” to teach boxing. One of his students is the current world champion rower and several others are from the Czech Olympic rowing team.
Intercede with a member of the CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER in the Czech Republic that the Father will bless a boxing class that has been started by a national in their community church plant. It’s taking off through word of mouth. So far there are 10 adults and teens training each week and children training twice a month as well. Lift up those who walk through the door and become acquainted with the building and the community. Verses are being painted on the walls to spur questions and curiosity as people train. Also in the Czech Republic, other cluster members need a new place for their Bible study. They have had opposition of various sorts and would like intercession that a place be found soon.
