Young man obeys God’s call in Moldova
Yura was saved as a teen. Though he had begun to take part in leadership of the church as a young man, he did not realize that God had such a big job in store for him.
A couple working in MOLDOVA (BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER) write: ”It continues to be a joy for us to help the university students in Rascani learn English, but more than this, our joy stems from the Lord Jesus using this tool as a means to build relationships with all of them. Our prayer is to have a few class nights, when we will have them invite their friends for coffee/tea and snacks. While we want to make this a fun time, we also want to share the love of Christ! Please continue to intercede for our students to come to know the Son in a personal way in their hearts and lives. Also, please ask that the Father will guide us and give us wisdom in all that we do and say. We plan to start a new beginner’s class this month due to the response that we are having from additional students that want to learn English! Praise the Lord.”
The BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER gives praise to the Father for the new work He is establishing in several cities through English ministry. ”Chat,” a new English group that will be led by a team member and national partners in the city of Donetsk, Ukraine held its first gathering this week. Last week, believers in Moldova asked a couple serving there to begin a Coffee House for university students, and in Kiev, Ukraine, a team member began the “ROSE-club” outreach for young women attending two universities in the city. Please lift up each one involved in these outreach opportunities, as well as those the Father is going to draw into these groups by the power of His Spirit. Intercede that the cluster personnel, as well as their national partners will seek His face each day that they might follow His plan to reach out with the love of Christ into the lives of students.
Please lift up the Beth Moore, “Believing God” Bible study that has just begun in Moldova, which is being led by a national believer. She received training through “Beautiful Gate Translations” and from a member of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in Bucharest, and was led to take what she learned to teach women in her own city. Ask the Father to grant the women, who come open hearts and minds during this study. Intercede that the Father will be honored and glorified through all that is done.
