Please remember the Roma in Poland, who have been suffering persecution, particularly in an eastern region. Two men were recently beaten up and have been in the hospital to have surgery to repair injuries. One of these men is a believer. Intercede for their families. Ask the Father to calm fears, to give wisdom regarding where to live, and to provide healing to these men.
Ukrainian “suitcase traders” are easy to find at outdoor markets in Polish cities. A shared border and a long history, makes Poland a popular destination for Ukrainians. Two distinct groups of Ukrainians are found in Poland – one claims Ukrainian ancestry, but due to wars or other reasons, they found themselves on the Polish side of the border. They live in rural areas and typically work the land. The other group resides abroad from 3 to 12 months and finds employment in cities doing construction or in hotels and cleaning services. Intercede that Ukrainians in Poland will be exposed to the Gospel and that one day they will share citizenship in heaven with believers from all nations.
The ROMA CLUSTER asks that we remember Roma families from Poland serving in Slovakia among the Roma. The spiritual soil there is very hard and the work is difficult. Please intercede for them to be strong.
Give praise to the Father for what He is doing around the CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER (CCC), where various outreach camps and events have been held in recent weeks. In Poland, six of seven non-believing adults at the Family Camp accepted Christ and started a relationship with Him. Two teenage boys, who saw the change in their mother, asked what they needed to do to have the same change in their lives. They also accepted Jesus. At a Sports Clinic 16 young men prayed and publicly confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In Slovenia, 41 children enrolled in VBS and 20 parents heard the gosp. Two more decisions for Christ were made during the Youth Camp in the Czech Republic. Intercede that each new believer will grow in their faith, be discipled, and actively share their new faith with others. Ask for a continued harvest, as members of CCC hold additional events throughout the summer.
