In Warsaw, Poland, members of the CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER have both reason to rejoice and to intercede. Bible Express classes continue, a pop culture English class has begun, a photography club with presentation has been launched, Bible group continues to go well, and team members are on their way or have just arrived. Let’s keep this city in our hearts and petitions. Intercede that as the still-grieving Poles attend and participate in these activities that they will see light in their current dark time. Please also remember the transition quirks and hurdles that the new team members face daily during this time.
Roma conference emphasizes hope in Christ
A conference in Brno drew more than 100 Roma from Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. There they participated in a missions outreach project and shared stories of how God is working among the Roma.
A new Alpha course has been started in Krakow, Poland. In conjunction with YWAM (Youth with a Mission), TEAM KRAKOW (CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER) is assisting with hosting the meetings, leading discussion groups, and helping in general ways. Let’s boldly ask our Father to soften hearts and compel people to attend these groups diligently, so that they can find the keys to life’s big dilemmas and questions.
Our people working in POLAND (CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER) have had an exhausting and emotional week, since it was learned that the president and his wife and most of his staff were killed in an airplane crash. As the funeral proceedings last on into this week, they ask for intercession for the Polish people, who love their country and countrymen very much. There will be discussions with many people this week about a relationship with the Son and how He wants to lead us into an abundant life. Intercede that many seeds will be sown and that many of those who are confused and hurting will find peace in the Son.
