Intercede with the ROMA CLUSTER for Roma work going on in Slovakia. Volunteers and colleagues from other countries have started work there. Now, 2 Roma Christian families from Poland have moved there to continue the work. Lift them up, as they integrate into the community. Petition that the seeds that have been sown will bring forth fruit. Ask for safety in traveling for colleagues, as they periodically go and help these Roma families.
Give praise with the ROMA CLUSTER for 14 new believers in Slovakia and 13 in Romania, who came to faith during volunteer weeks in July. Give praise for the volunteers and locals, who were part of those times. Intercede for good follow-up.
Please lift up the children’s evangelistic camp in Slovakia (CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER). About 50 kids ages 8-13 are signed up for this camp. National leaders and missionaries will be leading the children through the Bible and teaching them English. Ask that the children will recognize their need for a Savior and respond to His love for them.
In Bratislava and Kosice, Slovakia, the World Championships for Hockey are going on until May 15. The believers and missionaries (CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER) in that country are asking that we intercede for this time, that the crowds, chaos and emotions of the games will not result in danger to anyone. This is a big first for this small country and the transportation system and accommodations have been stretched to the max. May believers truly show the patience of Christ during this time and go out of their way to help all the visitors from all over the world in these 2 cities!
