Give praise with the ROMA CLUSTER for 14 new believers in Slovakia and 13 in Romania, who came to faith during volunteer weeks in July. Give praise for the volunteers and locals, who were part of those times. Intercede for good follow-up.
Please lift up the children’s evangelistic camp in Slovakia (CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER). About 50 kids ages 8-13 are signed up for this camp. National leaders and missionaries will be leading the children through the Bible and teaching them English. Ask that the children will recognize their need for a Savior and respond to His love for them.
In Bratislava and Kosice, Slovakia, the World Championships for Hockey are going on until May 15. The believers and missionaries (CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER) in that country are asking that we intercede for this time, that the crowds, chaos and emotions of the games will not result in danger to anyone. This is a big first for this small country and the transportation system and accommodations have been stretched to the max. May believers truly show the patience of Christ during this time and go out of their way to help all the visitors from all over the world in these 2 cities!
In Bratislava, Slovakia, kids in elementary schools have a new “trend”…making talisman and bringing them to school for “luck” and “feeling better” about school and life. Kids as young as 2nd grade have caught on to this fad and are very adamant about this empty hope and belief. Members of the CENTRAL CATHOLIC CLUSTER ask us to join them in praying hard against Satan using this tool in very young lives.
