Small Group in Dnipropetrovsk

Members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in UKRAINE request intercession for the small group of young adults that is meeting in Krasnie Kamen (Red Rock) district of Dnipropetrovsk. Ask that the unbelievers, who are coming will be open to the Gospel and that the believers will be more committed to seeing this group become a new church. Lift up the brother, who is working to lead and develop this small group.

Catching a Vision for Discipleship in Ukraine

As a member of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in the Ukraine is meeting and interceding regularly with some deacons and pastors, he has witnessed a deeper understanding of the need for discipleship. He is encouraged by the desire of the deacons to form many small groups. Intercede that God’s people will take the necessary steps of obedience in stepping up to lead these groups. May the Father’s spirit call each one of them forward. Petition that current leadership will to be wise in training and entrusting these new group leaders.

Week of Prayer for Kiev, Ukraine

Team Kiev is dedicating Dec. 4-10 as a week of prayer and fasting for the city of Kiev, Ukraine. Join with them as they declare Isaiah 58:6 over this strategic city. Ask the Father to fulfill His promise to “loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke.” Intercede for multitudes to be set free to worship and serve the Living Lord in the days ahead. Petition that believers will rise up with a passion for reaching the lost within their community, their country, and the nations.

Youth Club in Ukraine

A member of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in the UKRAINE requests intercession for the first meeting of One Way Youth Club that will be held on November 4 in the center of Donetsk. Ask the Father to work out all the details, including the needed audio/visual equipment. Petition the Father to draw many students and young adults into this time of fellowship, and further into an intimate relationship with the Son. Lift up the leadership team as they anticipate forming small groups in the center of the city after the beginning of One Way Youth Club, laying a foundation for a new church start for the center of Donetsk.

School Project in Ukraine

Members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in UKRAINE write, “Pray for a team from Florida that is working with us Sept. 18 – 23 in a school in Lubni doing English lessons and cultural exchange. This is a town where we are partnering with a church planter to help him develop relationships with the director and teachers. We have already seen results from last year’s project, as relationships have been developed and the church planter and his wife have had many opportunities to get into the school and work. The teachers are very open to them being there now.”

Basketball Camps in Ukraine

Members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in UKRAINE request intercession for the basketball camps, August 22-26, that will be in Novi Sanzhar (10K). They share, “This is a country seat town and our first time to do sports ministry in this town. The young pastor there really wants to use sports as an outreach into the community and we are excited to be partnering with him. Lift up the American volunteer team from Mississippi that is coming to work with us. Intercede for the children who will hear the gospel and also for the relationships that will be developing.”

Roma Church Plant in Ukraine

Remember members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER serving in UKRAINE, as they seek to start a new Roma church in a little village in the Carpathian mountains, named Beregujfalu. Intercede for them as they labor to build relationships with many in this village. Petition the Father to raise up Roma believers with a passion for leading a body of believers in the worship of His Son.

Summer Projects

Summertime is volunteer time! Praise the Lord for those who sacrifice to come and assist in ministry. Please lift up these various projects that are taking place this week:

TEAM NAPLES (WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN CLUSTER) will be hosting about 50 World Changers students, who will work alongside of them and a couple of their partner churches. Intercede for those folks with whom they will come into contact and ask for clear communication.

From July 2- 9, a volunteer team is assisting with a youth Sports/English Camp for the XXI Century Church in Prague. Personnel working with the DIASPORA CLUSTER in the CZECH REPUBLIC will be helping also. Intercede that salvation will come to a number of the young people.
Members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in UKRAINE will host a team from Alabama, who will be working with them in the Sechiv region of Lviv. Intercede for the volunteers and Ukrainian believers, as they minister through a day camp. Petition the Father to grant them many new contacts with people in this region.
Intercede for several groups of Americans that will be coming to work among the ROMA (ROMA CLUSTER) in Macedonia, Romania, Italy, and Czech Republic. Petition for their safety and health. Ask that the Father will be glorified in all that they do and that many Roma will come to faith.

God at Work in Ukraine

Members of the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in Ukraine request intercession for villages in the Bolgrad Region of the Odessa Oblast. Give praise for the work the Lord is doing through outreach by Grace Church in Novaya Triany, a small town settled by Bulgarian immigrants 200 years ago. Intercede that believers in this village will share Christ freely, knowing the Holy Spirit is calling each sinner to repentance and to the knowledge of the Father’s love and promise. Ask the Father to call out His people from this region as missionaries to other lands, even to Bulgaria.

New Work in Sokol, Ukraine

A couple working with the BLACK SEA ORTHODOX CLUSTER in the UKRAINE have begun work in the city of Sokal through English and a Bible study. Petition the Father to draw many from this city into fellowship and relationship with them and with Him. Lift up N., the only person, who has attended so far, to be impacted by the Word and by the relationships being established with this couple. Ask the Father to stir the hearts of people in Sokal to desire to know Him through the study of His Word.
