Members of the WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN CLUSTER in PORTUGAL are planning a basketball camp for March 26-30 in a poorer Lisbon, Portugal neighborhood. They have had many open doors such as the location, equipment and a local partner in this planning. Getting a team to come from the States is the prayer request. They have 5 people currently committed to coming, but still need many more. Petition that the Father will provide the team that He wants to be there to lead a week-long camp for these kids to hear the Good News.

Give praise with the ROME TEAM (WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN CLUSTER) that there were about 30 at the first meeting with the ladies of Lauretino. They talked about Jesus and had fun. A team member writes, “Two of us spent the whole night praying and reading Scripture in the room we were to meet in the next morning. From this meeting we were invited into one of the ladies’ homes, where we repeated the “activity” with her neighbors. In Laurentino we have seen God move after MUCH prayer.” Join them in interceding that this will be the start of a home group.

Il-Milied It-Tajjeb! In MALTA (WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN CLUSTER) it is traditional to sow wheat, grain and canary seed, called “gulbiena” on cotton buds in flat pans. These are left in dark corners until the seeds produce white grass-like shoots. The pans with the fully-grown shoots are then used to decorate the crib or the statue of Baby Jesus. Intercede that the many “seeds” of Truth that have been planted in Malta through volunteers and other efforts will grow and that 2012 will produce a mighty Harvest for the Kingdom!
